Tifa stays behind with Cloud, as she had nowhere else to go. Depending on the player's interactions with her during the game, the following scene has two possible dialogue course, either implying a strong romantic connection, or little at all. Out of curiosity, How does the dialogue differ between the two scenes and which one did I get?
During the Dream Date at Gold Saucer it was Aeris who visited, which apparently means I payed more attention to her during the game than Tifa. However the scene under the Highwind I recieved was with Tifa saying as long as Cloud was there she would keep fighting even if she's scared.
Then Tifa falls asleep on Clouds shoulder for the night. I figured this must be the romantic scene but that fact that Aeris came on the Date makes me wonder if I payed significant attention to Tifa to warrant that scene under the Highwind:? It's a tall order to play the whole game again paying attention to Tifa to find out what scene it was, so does anybody here know the difference?
Also, why does Tifa appear to to go mad on the highwind when they get back on it and realise everyone did indeed return? And Tifa's mad because the other's apparently saw her and Cloud get up to some pre saving the world nookie. Just because you claim to be honourable doesn't mean you are.
GT - Sniper Fox But in either case they still fall asleep in each others arms. Later, Cloud and Tifa remains in the cockpit. What are you going to do, Tifa? I don't have anywhere to go. Later outside of the parked Highwind, Cloud and Tifa sits on a hill. Yeah, we don't have anywhere or anyone to go home to.
Everyone has an irreplaceable something they're holding on to But this time, our opponent But that's all right, even if no one comes back. As long as I'm with you As long as you're by my side I won't give up even if I'm scared. No matter how close we are We were for apart But when we were in the Lifestream surrounded by all those screams of anguish, I thought I heard your voice But deep in my heart I heard you calling my name Or at least I thought I did At the time I heard you calling me.
You were calling me back from the stream of consciousness in the Lifestream. After all, I promised. That if anything were to ever happen to you, I would come to help. Do you think the stars can hear us? Do you think they see how hard we're fighting for them? Whether they are or not, we still have to do what we can.
And believe in ourselves Someday we'll find the answer. That's what I learned from you when I was in the Lifestream. There are a lot of things I wanted to talk to you about. But now that we're together like this, I don't know what I really wanted to say I guess nothing's changed at all Kind of makes you want to laugh Words aren't the only thing that tell people what you're thinking Later, during the middle of the night Did I wake you?
It's almost dawn, Tifa. Give me a little longer Just a little bit longer This day will never come again So let me have this moment This is probably the last time we'll have together It's all right, Tifa. You said so yourself yesterday. At least we don't have to go on alone.
Cloud and Tifa embarks the Highwind. KOTRsss KOTRsss 9 years ago 4 I dont have the script document with all possible lines in the game on this computer, but there is a rather significant difference.
For starters, if you get the more romantically inclined scene, then when Tifa finds out that everyone was on the Highwind, she says "you were watching?! If it is the less romantically inclined scene, then she says "you were listening? This strongly suggests that in one of the scenes they have sex, although if ShinoRyu is still around he'll probably still insist that that's impossible because FFVII comes from Japan Anyways, other big differences include that when Tifa says "I was calling your name" instead of Cloud saying "yeah," he didnt realize it was Tifa's voice and mistook it for Aeris's instead.
When the scene blacks out, Tifa doesnt say "word's arent the only way of telling people how you feel," and also in the morning, when Tifa says "just give me a little bit longer" Cloud instead of agreeing just goes " Let's all just be honest about that. Cloud never once thought he heard Aeris' voice in the Lifestream. In both versions of the Highwind scene, he says he heard Tifa's voice calling out to him.
IIRC, it's Tifa's line that varies between the two versions; in one she says she heard Cloud's voice, and in the other she isn't so sure about it. In both versions of the Highwind scene, they stay cuddled up together for a little longer. KOTRsss KOTRsss 9 years ago 6 Oh, well excuse me mister "I know what exactly the developers meant when they wrote the alternate versions of the scene, and what they meant was the exact same thing for both of them, because then it totally makes sense to have 2 different versions" Also, Cloud's line certainly does differ.
I'll find the file and post it in a bit. The Compilation's full of more holes than Zack.
